Obituary For Joseph D. Milcarek, Sr.

September 9, 1942 - October 15, 2018

Milcarek, Joseph D., Sr., age 76, on Monday, October 15, 2018 of South Side. Beloved husband of Mary Catherine "Cathy" Milcarek for over 52 years; loving father of Joseph D. (Kim Bobnes) Milcarek, Jr. and Frank (Judy) Milcarek; grandfather of Josh (Talia) and Paige Milcarek; great-grandfather of Joshua Milcarek; stepgreat-grandfather of Alana Bobnes; brother of Rita Manski, Sandee (Charles) Wieseckel, Samantha Bobrzynski and the late Jerry Milcarek. Also survived by his loving dog Lucy who will be waiting to greet him again. Joe worked at Genes Glass and Radiator for over 38 years. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday and Thursday, October 17 & 18, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Friday morning at 10:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Adalbert Church at 11:00 a.m.
