Miller, Joseph H. "Joe", age 93, on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 of Pittsburgh.

Beloved husband of Helen (Aivazian) Miller for over 70 years; loving father of Janet (Alan) Ribar, Diane M. Miller, Joanne (Joseph) McCafferty and Susan Miller; grandfather of Frank (Tracy) DiGnazio, Nicole (Kolby) Reese, Jessica (Joseph) Grimmer, and Maureen McCafferty; great-grandfather of Piper Reese; brother of Patricia Clifford and the late Corinne Schneider, Jane Link and Paul Miller. Joe is also survived by his many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and his special cousin Mary Lou Bluestone. Joe enjoyed a full life that was devoted to his family, church, and friends. He was an avid golfer, bowler, and enjoyed many other sporting activities. He retired from John Morrell where his engaging personality was on display as a favorite salesman. He was a true gentleman known for his great integrity. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Saturday morning at 11:00. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Paul of the Cross Monastery at Noon. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to a favorite charity of one's choice in Joe's name.
