Obituary For Josephine Wuchina Peters

August 15, 1927 - October 19, 2018Wuchina Peters, Josephine, age 91, died peacefully on October 19, 2018 in Silver City, New Mexico. Daughter of the late Alex and Anna Kvochko of Wilpen, PA; wife of the late Stephen Wuchina and the late Dale Peters; mother of Stephanie (Larry) Celin, David (Robin) Wuchina and Douglas Wuchina. Josephine dearly loved her four grandchildren. She was a dedicated wife, mother and assistant to those in need of her help in caring for the ill. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Sunday, October 28, 2018 from 2-4 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Connie Frierson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to AmVets, 1000 Liberty Ave #1605, Pittsburgh, PA 15222.

    We are so sorry to hear of Mrs. Peters passing. She was an awesome neighbor! We love her dearly. She was one of the first people to greet us when we moved in. She was so caring and helpful! We are blessed to have had her as a friend. Prayers and hugs to the family!
