Obituary For Joyce M. (Marlatt) Luta

Age 72, on Friday, March 20, 2026, of Pleasant Hills, formerly of Clairton.

Beloved wife of 40 years to the late Anthony "Tony" Luta; loving mother of Jennifer and Mark Luta; proud grandma of Alexa and Anthony Luta; daughter of the late Paul and Margaret (Pasternak) Marlatt; sister of Gary and Curtis (Janet) Marlatt. Also survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Thursday morning at 9:15 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial in Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish at St. Elizabeth Church at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
