Obituary For Judith Elton Steeb

Age 84, of Bethel Park, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

Beloved wife of the late Raymond H. Steeb, Jr.; loving mother of Jeffrey Warner and John (Kim) Warner; stepmother of Amanda (Jeff) Nelson, Matthew (Amy) Steeb, John Steeb, James (Lisa) Steeb, Raymond (Claudia) Steeb III, and Lynda (Mark) Kennedy; grandmother of 20; great-grandmother of 25; daughter of the late John and Clarice Elton; sister of the late Bruce (survived by Betty) Elton. Also survived by cousin Carol Hurst and several nieces and nephews. Judy was given the gift of music. She shared her gift with the music ministry of Christ United Methodist Church as a children's choir director, accompanist, and a lifelong member of the Chancel Choir. Judy also sang as a core member of the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh. She adored her family, many friends and her beloved cats. There will be no visitation, arrangements were handled by the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 25 in Christ United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations to Animal Friends or the Music Ministry of CUMC.
