Obituary For Judith McCormick

July 16, 1953 - February 7, 2018

McCormick, Judith Lynn, age 64, following a long battle with cancer, on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, of Brentwood Borough. Wife of the late Charles McCormick; loving mother of Christy (Mark) Huebner, Shawn (Lauren) Loadman; grandmother of Kaylee and Shane Zaparoni and Eli Loadman; great-grandmother of Chloe Lynn Lenger; aunt of Richard Raget and sister of the late Janet Raget. She loved spending time with family and friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. and Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 2-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to Wreaths Across America (Code: PANCAB), National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, 1158 Morgan Road, Bridgeville, PA 15017, (Group ID PA0314P) or Baldwin/Brentwood/Whitehall Relay for Life, (checks made out to ACS in memory of Judy McCormick), 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205. The family would like to give a huge thank you to Hillman Cancer Center and Family Hospice for all the support you gave us.

    Dear Christy: I just came across your Mom's obituary today. I am so sadden to learn that she has passed away. If I would have known I would have been there to hug you. Your Mom and I always hugged in Giant Eagle!! She was very special to me and I loved her smile. We talked about you kids and our Grandkids all the time.     A co-worker whom I loved to spend time with. We laughed and learned together. I have missed her for some time. I will never stopped missing my Mac. I know she can rest peacefully now, so I'll be at peace.

    The world is at a huge disadvantage without having Judy McCormick in it. She was the epitimy of strength, compassion and integrity. I will never forget all of the wonderful years that she had brightened my life. Heaven will be a much better place...now that you're there.
