I worked at Dollar Bank with Mr. Fisher and got to know the family. Visiting at Baer Camp Ground in Erie and having them and others from the bank at my parents home in Valencia for our annual picnic's. They would always bring German Potato Salad. It was the very best. Yes, I too remember the Christmas Cookies, train display, and all the love and caring of both of your parents. The war stories, cute sayings, and how your father was a father to me when I started to work at DB at the age of 18. Mrs. Fisher was an all around beautiful lady. I had lost contact with Mrs. Fisher after Bob's passing but often thought and wondered where she was and how she was doing. I will continue to hold on to the wonderful memories of your parents. So very sad to hear of her passing and your loss. May God be with you during this difficult time. With my sincere sympathy.

What an elegant, sweet, kind and classy lady. Many good memories of Mrs. Fisher on Sunnyland Avenue. On the eve of my wedding, I was feeling quite nervous. I've never forgotten how your Mom noticed and quietly came into my room, sat on my bed and gently calmed me down. May the memory of her beautiful soul help all of you find strength and peace. With sympathy and prayers. Rosemary "Tooty Van Ruiten" Begey

Dear Bob, Ken, and Family, Your mom was a gentle and good soul. Living beside your family through my growing-up years, we shared many happy memories--our Moms' every morning coffee klatch get togethers, overseeing our many ballgames, it tag, and hide-and-seek street games, and the every year Christmas visits, to name a few. Your Mom's candy cane and Santa Claus decorated cookies were legendary and delicious! One year, your Mom surprised Rose and me with a bunk bed for our dolls and we were beyond thrilled! When we entered our teenage years, Mrs. Fisher regaled us with many stories of her childhood, her and your Dad's romance, and neighborhood happenings, giving us her perspective and outlook on life as she did. Losing Ronnie was a heart wrenching and difficult time, but her family was always first and foremost. Watching Mrs. Fisher's health deteriorate these last years was so very sad. Her quiet and calm demeanor, her welcoming smile, and her sweet hugs will be missed. Please accept my condolences on the loss of your Mom. God bless, Margaret (Van Ruiten) Martin

What a beautiful picture of a truly beautiful woman. She will always be "Mrs. Santa Claus" to our oldest son, Tom. Great memories of the downstairs train platform and the Santa Claus cookies with the coconut beards. Hoping you are able to find comfort at this time by so many wonderful memories.
