50 years ago I took care of Michael during the summer following June's aneurism. Reading of her death flooded me with memories of those weeks in your home. My prayers are with your family as you learn to be in the world without her. May your warm memories be a source of consolation to you in these days of letting her go.

Dear Ed, McGervey and Bratz Families The good Lord needed another flower in His garden and He chose June. Eventhough we only met her occasionally at JCU reunions, she always left an impression of kindness and gentleness. It is now Jesus' turn to be kind and gentle as He receives her to her eternal home. He has assured us repeatedly that we will be united with her as well. May she rest in peace. Chuck and Hedy Fye

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. June and I became friends many years ago when we both worked at AGH. We were in each other's wedding and shared many great times together. I will always remember her for the sweet, fun-loving person that she was.

My condolences to the McGervey and Bratz families. June and Ed were pillars of the St. James-Savannah community. I first met them doing Adoration at the Cathedral and was surprised later to learn they were Aunt and Uncle to Paul and Phillip whom I already knew. Such a loving family. So glad they got back to Ohio for her last months. That have both been greatly missed.

We met our dear friends June and Ed when we both moved to The Landings in 2005. We were part of the original New Neighbors ladies golf group on Thursdays. We were also originals in our new Wednesday and Friday golf groups that have lasted for twelve years. What good times we had! We have fond memories of June and Ed grooving to Savannah Steve at Seafood Night and impromptu fun for any occasion. Rest In Peace dear friend. You will be sorely missed but your memory will stay with us. Nancy and Bob Schmarge

I never had a dear friend like Junie. I met her 50+ years ago when I first started a job. She was the first one I met and we clicked immediately. Her kindness and grace were remarkable. We spent many hours together--no subject was "off limits". We laughed so much. Even if we did not talk for a while, the minute we heard each others' voices it was like yesterday. I am blessed to have met her and wish her peace.

June and Ed were one of the first couples we met when we moved to Savannah. They were so much fun and enjoyable to be with. June will be missed by many in this community!
