Condolences

I am sorry to hear of Karen's passing. She was one of Miss Baxters seven language lab assistants in 1965-1966, our senior year of high school. All seven lab assistants were a tight group, and we were like a family. I truly will miss Karen but I can remember the good times we had in the language lab.

Karen and I were Language Lab assistants at Baldwin High School around 1966. She was the sweetest, smartest and most fun to be around person I assisted with!

I rode the Baldwin Manor bus with Karen for many years. I so enjoyed our many conversations on the bus. She loved her family and loved to talk about her nieces and nephews. She was a joy to know. I am so sorry for your loss.

For many years Karen was like a member of my family. Although we have not been in touch for quite some time, I will always remember special times, Christmas, New Years Eve and family gatherings we enjoyed together. God Bless you Karen. My sympathies to the family. Debbie (Hipchen) Sloan

I worked with Karen for many years at Mellon. She was one of the best! Hard working, kind, honest, and just a pleasure to work with. I have many fond memories of Karen and so glad I could call her colleague and friend. She is home with her heavenly father...

To the family and friends of Karen I send my sincere condolences. I remember Karen being a true IT All-Star at Mellon! She was a role model for the women in IT. She gave hope to those around her that they could achieve their own success. God Bless you all!
