Obituary For Kathleen Alko

June 2, 1943 - June 22, 2018

Alko, Kathleen Age 75, on Friday, June 22, 2018, of Brentwood, formerly of South Side.

Beloved wife of the late Edward Alko; loving mother of Deborah (Charles) Munz and Linda (Greg) Jones; cherished grandmother of Corey and Amber Jones and Joshua Munz; sister of Charles Mulinari and the late Jane Urbinski; cousin of Shirley Noble, Rosemary Yovetich and the late Edward Seibel and Marlene Cancilla. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday, June 25, 2018 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 10 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 50 Moffett St., Pgh., PA 15243.

    Kathy was and will be such a huge part of our lives. Like a second mom and Gram. We've learned and laughed and shared so many family and life experiences. We will miss her terribly. I know, I have lost a true friend. My heart aches for my extended family. Love to you all in this difficult time. We're here for you.
