Obituary For Kathleen (Brennan) Buckoski

Buckoski, Kathleen (Brennan), age 67, on Saturday, March 20, 2021, of Clearwater Beach, FL.

Wife of LTC (Ret.) Brian Buckoski and the late Charles K. Brennan; mother of Drew (Casey) Brennan of Altoona; daughter of the late Edward and Julia Jarkiewicz of Pittsburgh; sister of Linda (Minor) Shapiro, Edward J. (Monica) Jarkiewicz and Nancy (Thomas) Songer; sister-in-law of Franklyn (Carolyn) Buckoski of Mims, FL. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Kathie graduated from Alliance College with a BS in accounting and Seton Hall University for her MBA. She joined the Nabisco Biscuit Sales in NJ as a Treasury Analyst and then Treasury Manager. She was later promoted to Director, Sales Administration and then Director, Sales Finance reporting to the Controller. She left Nabisco in 1995 and was a principle owner of Brennan Research Group and ended her career after 10 years as a controller for the Crestmont Country Club, both also in NJ. Visitation and services will be held privately on Thursday, March 25, 2021. For information to attend visitation, mass or her committal virtually by Zoom, please contact one of Kathleen's family members. Arrangements handled by the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh. Visitation will be held in Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Ave, Verona, NJ 07044 on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Kathleen will be buried next to her late husband Charles K. Brennan in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Verona at 11:00 a.m.
