Obituary For Kathleen (Ehrlich) Ganter

Age 78, on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 of Brentwood.

Beloved wife of 54 years to Val F. Ganter; loving mom of The Honorable Deborah (Christopher) Kunselman, Patrick (Monica) Ganter and Christine (Gregg) Symanski; proud grandmother of Andrew, Sophia, Robbie, Sullie, Ethan, Katie and Gavin; sister of the late Donna Yuhas; aunt of Michelle Palmer and David Yuhas; niece of Marion Reich. Also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 3-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Sylvester Church at 10:30 a.m. Everyone please meet at church. Mask and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, One Children's Hospital Drive, 4401 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15224.

    I am so sorry to see this. Kathy was one of my "church" buddies and I will miss her. We always shared stories of of kids and grandkids and she was always so proud of all of you. I will think of her often and that will bring a smile to my face. May all of the great memories you made with her bring smiles to your faces as well, she loved you all.
