Age 86, of Baldwin Township, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, September 15, 2026.

Beloved mother of Mary Margaret "Peggy" Horgan (the late Walter) Populo and Michael A. (Maureen) Horgan; loving GaGa of Kalyn, Bradley and Amanda Populo and Brianna and Brittany Horgan (William Sharples); daughter of the late John and Mary Louise Larkin; sister of Carol (the late Joseph) Nowark and Mary Louise (Tony) Pierson. Also survived by numerous friends, nieces, nephews and their families. Kathryn attended St. Francis Academy as well as Duquesne University. She loved nature and was lovingly known as "earth puppy". She retired from PNC Bank and worked as a floral designer. Kathy was a veracious reader and book collector and was a longtime member of the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians.

Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, September 21, 2026 from 2-7 p.m. Funeral prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library at https://donate.imaginationlibrary.com/ , or your local library.
