Age 58, on December 31, 2020, peacefully surrounded by her family, after complications from COVID-19, of Brentwood formerly of Baldwin.
Loving wife of 38 years to Joseph Kittiko, Jr.; beloved mother of Patti (Tim) Brodrick and Katie Jo (Bradley Buchheit) Kittiko; proud Grammie of Paige McKenzie and future grandmother to baby girl Brodrick; daughter of Reverend Norman and Patricia Lascher; sister of Lynda (Mike) Bakalon; will be greatly missed by in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, Elton Avenue family and many friends. Kathy was a Baldwin High School graduate of 1980. Her life was devoted to faith, family and friendship. An avid lover of gardening, crafting, cooking and her dogs. What brought Kathy the greatest joy, was giving joy to others. Over the past few years, Kathy found a new sense of adventure by splitting her time between Pittsburgh and Georgia, to take on the greatest role of her lifetime "Grandma". Our mother was a selfless woman of God who taught her daughters how to be strong women, like her. She will be profoundly missed. Funeral services held privately. Arrangements entrusted to the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. If desired, family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or consider making a blood donation.

Kathy was a great friend and neighbor! She would do things like weed my front yard when I was at work or have the neighborhood kids over to play. She adored her granddaughter Paige always looking forward to her visits. Kathy was such a faith filled woman. I will miss my friend dearly. I received a card from her recently telling me how she cherished my friendship which hangs on my refrigerator and make me smile each day. God has you with him now dear friend I find comfort in knowing this...please put in a good word for me!

Mrs K. You'll be missed by so many. I'll never forget all of the great times we had swimming in your pool and chillin on the porch. AJ recalls the tea party you threw for the little girls of the neighborhood as her favorite memory of you. Also the times you let her play with the dollhouse. Love you Mrs K.
