Obituary For Kenneth J. Schneider, Sr.

Our family is saddened to announce the passing of Kenneth J Schneider, Sr. on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. Kenneth, a long time resident of Whitehall, was born on May 22, 1942. He was married to Earleen (Militzer) for 50 years prior to her passing in 2014.
Kenneth is survived by his son, Kenneth Jr. (Beth) and daughter, Christine Ward (Sean), grandchildren - Hayley Ward, Amy Schneider and Ashley Ward as well as step-grandchildren Sean and Sarah O’Rourke, and Ken’s sister Catherine (Schneider) Murphy, sister-in-laws - Frances Schneider and Valeta Schneider. Kenneth was predeceased by his wife, as well as his three brothers (Edward, William and Paul). The four brothers worked alongside each other at Schneider’s Dairy, founded by their father Edward Schneider in 1935. Kenneth will be greatly missed.
Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Saturday and Sunday, January 6 & 7, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 9:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas More Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
