Son of the late Kenneth and Helen Warner; brother of Dave (Christine) Warner, the late John (Linda) Warner; beloved uncle and great uncle of numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Ken was an avid outdoorsman spending much of his time biking and hiking at Cook Forest. In addition, he had an insatiable thirst for knowledge. Ken had two degrees in Psychology and Physics from the University of Pittsburgh, and spent most of his career at Mesta Machine Company and Industrial Scientific. He will be remembered as always having a smile and wearing shorts, regardless of the weather or time of year. Arrangements were handled by John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227. Services to be held privately. If desired, family suggests contributions to Friends of Cook Forest, PO Box 31, Cooksburg, PA 16217, https://www.friendsofcookforest.org/donate.html.

Condolences

So sorry to hear of his passing. I met him years ago.

  • August 20, 2021

I remember many conversations and times working late into the evening with Ken at Industrial Scientific. I remember his smile and his quick laugh. I remember his shorts, the glasses placed on his forehead and the tie tucked into his shirt, or the Bugs Bunny sweatshirt.
