Kristina "Tina" M. Pierce (Schanck)
Age 55, very unexpectedly on Thursday, March 5, 2026 of Pittsburgh.

Beloved wife of 30 years to James W. Pierce; loving mom of Cheyenne M. (Mark Smith) Pierce; cherished daughter of Joseph L. and the late Kathleen Schanck; devoted sister of Joseph W. (Linda) Schanck, Suzanne (Brian) Staab, Michael (Heather) Schanck, Marc (Brandy O'Brien) Schanck and Matthew (Bernadette) Schanck; sister in-law of Lawerence Pierce. Also survived and loved by nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers, friends and neighbors.

Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday, March 9 and Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday morning at 8:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas the Apostle Parish at St. Therese Church in Munhall at 10:00 am. Everyone please meet at the Church.

    My Tina I first laid eyes on you the day you were born. I was honored to be your Godmother. Mom said your name is"Kristina" not Tina was she out voted. I have a lot of memories to share to many to mention but the one I remember the most was you looking for me on your wedding day in church to hand me flowers. You gave me the Tina look and smiled.
