Obituary For Laurita K. (Chorazewicz) Crough

On Sunday, July 5, 2026, of McKees Rocks.

Beloved wife of the late Darrell Smith and Robert Thomas Crough; loving mother of Daniel (Devyn) Crough and Duane (Jody) Crough; daughter of the late Alexander Edward and Rose (Mishizen) Chorazewicz; sister of Bernard (Mary Lou) Chorazewicz; aunt of Rose Chorazewicz. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 from 6 until the time of her blessing service at 7:45 p.m. If desired family suggests contributions to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.

    Bernie and Mary Lou Chorazewicz

    Laurita was full of fun and very loving. As teenagers she would go and listen to a musical group and dance with Bernie and they would listen to their oldie records on their Hifi. As a young child she got lost in the "big snow of 1950". One of her favorite things to do was ride her skates with her skate key around her neck. After her mother passed away Laurita stepped right up and took care of her Dad and brother. The two most important people in her life are her twin sons, Duane and Dan. Their happiness and health was all that mattered. She lived her life for her boys.—-
