Age 82, on Friday, October 7, 2022 of Baldwin.

Beloved husband of 57 years to Janet A. (Hartung); loving dad of Marcy J. (Bob) Schugg, Stacy A. (Bill) Deep and Lori J. (Mike) Kirch; proud Pap Pap of R.J., Angela, Lauren, Jacob (Lilly), Cayla, Lexi and Cameron; brother of Joanne Hannes and the late James Ceresa; brother-in-law of Cheryl (Jerry) Ziegler; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1959-1961. He was employed by US Steel and The Greenery Rehab Facility. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Rd., Brentwood 15227, on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 10 am until the time of the service at 12 pm. Interment will be private.
