Obituary For Lena Volchko

Age 101, on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, of Brentwood.

Wife of the late William Volchko; mother of William (Judy) Volchko, Gary (Jamie) Volchko and Mary Beth (Darrell) Schultz; sister of Catherine Lorenzi and the late Emma and Tony; grandmother of Michael (Jodie), Stephen (Jeannine), Alexis, Mandy (Sean) and Chris; great-grandmother of Hailey, Hannah, Hadley, Carter, Chase, Benson, Lyla and Lena. Lena was an avid gardener and loved working in the yard. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 3-7 p.m. where a blessing service will be held in the Chapel on Monday at 11:00 a.m.

    Lena was always a nice lady with a great sense of humor. When I was a young girl, we would visit and always had the best time with her Bill and of course Gary, Mary Beth and Bill. Fond memories. RIP sweet lady. You were loved by many and will also be missed by many.
