Obituary For Linda Doring

On Monday, November 17, 2025, of Baldwin-Whitehall.

Beloved wife of 50 years to the late James E. Doring; loving mother of James "Jamie" (Anne) Doring and Jason A. (Kathleen) Doring; proud Gram of Elizabeth, Abigail, Molly, Amelia and Oliver; daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Louise Speca; sister of Daniel (Patti) Speca, Steve (Pam) Speca, David (Sam) Speca and Laura Speca. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Linda worked as a clerk in the Baldwin Borough Public Library for more than 20 years. She enjoyed listening to the Beach Boys and watching her beloved Pittsburgh Penguins. She loved butterflies, the winter season and especially, Christmas. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, where a Blessing Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, 106 Merchant Lane, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
