Obituary For Lois A. Witt

Age 90, of Baldwin Borough, passed peacefully on Thursday, August 28, 2025.

Daughter of the late Stanley and Laura (Wiloch) Witt; sister of Ruth ( the late Walter) Lapinski and the late Stanley (Charlotte) Witt, Jr. Also survived by 12 nieces and nephews and many great and great great nieces and nephews. Lois was a dedicated employee of U.S. Steel as an Executive Administrative Secretary for 40 years. She was an avid bowler, and a longtime member of St. Wendelin Church Choir. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 9-10 a.m. Funeral Prayer on Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Sylvester Church at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Blessed Trinity Parish, 3198 Schieck Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15227.
