Dripps, Lois J.

She never quit. From fighting for her children's welfare to her final battle with cancer, she faced the challenges in her life with courage, strength, and tenacity. Born September 21, 1932, Brentwood resident Lois Dripps passed away on June 15, 2014.

Beloved wife of 60 years to Samuel "Joe" Dripps; devoted mother of Lynne (John) Hatlas, Douglas and the late Lee J.; dear grandmother of John and Brian Hatlas. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Wednesday from 2-8 p.m., where a blessing service will be held on Thursday morning at 11:30 a.m. She will be laid to rest in Birmingham Cemetery in Pittsburgh. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Special Olympics of Allegheny County, 404 First Street, Heidelberg, PA 15106.
