Obituary For Lois Jean (Libell) Zanone

Age 85, passed peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, of Mt. Lebanon.

Loving wife of the late William G. Zanone, Jr.; mother of Thomas (Dana), Karen, Kenneth (Thelma), Robert (Rickie) and the late William P.; grandmother of Leigh, Kathryn (Andrew), Jessica (Christian) and Matthew; great-grandmother of many; daughter of the late Charles and Emma Libell; sister of the late Dr. Charles Libell and Paul Libell. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, August 4, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held privately. If desired, family suggests contributions to a charity of your choice in Lois' name.

    Mrs Z was such a wonderful person. I remember when I was working with the Zanone kids at McDonald's during high school, and the first time I met Mrs Z she told me that I better not get her boys into trouble. She said that a big grin and a little chuckle. My deepest condolences to the entire Zanone family.
