Dear Family and Friends of Louie, my deepest sympathy and prayers for the departure of a special person in our lives. I was surprised to hear such tragic news. My husband, Bob, and I have only wonderful, fun memories of Louie since the early 80's. It's impossible to count the laughs and fun times we shared. Getting to know the whole Gagliardi family through the Corvette Club and going to Dom's Gulf was also very special and treasured. I wish you comfort and peace as you transition to your loss. Bob and Louie were the same age and had a birthday 4 days apart. My Bob went to Heaven 26 months ago; may these 2 wonderful guys continue their friendship as Angels now. Donna, and the entire Gagliardi family I'm so very sad to hear of Lou's passing he and his father were Two of the best men I have ever been around. As a young kid both took me under there wing. Lou would let me work alongside him and with great patience taught me so much about cars. Everyone should have a man like Lou to mentor them RIP Bob (Skipper) Meyer. Beverly Hills FL.

My heart is so saddened by the loss of Louis... I have so many wonderful memories knowing him for the past 22 years. The best ones were watching him with my boys. He loved playing with them in the pool or riding them in his corvette! One time, he went to their Kennywood picnic with us. He rode the Pittsburgh plunge with them! They were soaked! I will cherish those memories (and pictures!)! I wish his family comfort and peace.

Donna and Family, know that my and Becky's thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time. Louie was a good man and friend, I always enjoyed talking with him and sharing car stories. Knowing he was going to be at the Steel Town Corvette meetings and cruises always gave me something to look forward to. Louie is going to be missed by a lot people. George and Becky Heflin

My sincere condolences to the Gagliardi family. I met Louie in 1993 when I bought my first Vette and joined steel town Corvettes. You could always depend on Louie to be there if you needed help with your car. He was a great man, loving husband, and great father! Terry Bauer

We had wonderful childhoods growing up in Whitehall in the 1950s. Old Union school was fun but the best part was having fun, funny friends like Jack Georgetson, Bruce Havekotte, Chip Ransford. And Louie. Jack's father arranged for us to go to the Shriners circuses, and Louie had us young boys in stitches as he flirted with the young women performers. I can still see them laughing.

"Louie" was one of our beloved 1962 Baldwin High School classmates; he will be missed. His reputation of honesty and integrity followed him throughout his life; this dedication and commitment were apparent as shown in his love for family and friends, along with his life-long business acquaintances. In the early 1970s, I was driving my parents' new Plymouth Duster. I had stopped at what was then the Foodland across the street from Dom's Gulf. When I came back out to the car, it wouldn't start. Lou came over to the parking lot to check out the car, and he spent some time at it. His diagnosis: it was the electronic ignition--the car was still under warranty--call the dealer and have them come tow it. Lou's charge for this: Nothing. The result: a lifelong customer of Dom's Gulf and my family was proud to call him friend. I'll miss you, Lou! --Trudy Labovitz
