Thanks, Rick. If I replied to you already, I'm sorry. Every now and then I look back here just to see my dad's picture. I don't remember reading your note before; but I'm still processing it a bit. Being far away from family when dad died, and getting ready to send my son to Basic Training, I don't think I took the time to process everything yet. Happy memories are what make the difference - that will keep him with me forever, for certain! Much appreciation - Laura

As my 7th grade Algebra teacher, Mr. Angelo was a rare one-of-a-kind teachers that you never forget! He was young, energetic, and very funny and made that dreadful math somehow bearable. I am a great- grandmother of 67 years old and have lived in Florida for many years but will never forget his influence! May God comfort your family at this time-God bless! An absolutely great man. Lou was my geography teacher at Wallace, our window installer at our home in Whitehall after I married, our always friendly neighbor and always a kind and compassionate person to ask advice on anything. To the Angelo family we offer our deepest sympathies. We are so sorry for your loss but feel very privileged to have known a person such as Lou. Please take solace and great satisfaction knowing that Lou touched so many people in a positive way. He was a true gift to everyone he touched.

Sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you all. I became friends with Lou while living in the Sig Tau House at IUP about 1958 and have continued to admire his intellect and great sense of humor. Of all the honorable men I have known, I would rank Lou at the top. He was truly a wonderful man. He will be missed,
