Nicasio, Lucille (Glaid)

Age 83, suddenly on Thursday, April 10, 2014, of Greensburg, formerly of Carrick.

Beloved wife for 27 years of Vicente "Jorge" Nicasio; stepmother of Nida (Antonio Gancayco), Rico (Leticia) and Christine (Mariano Zaldarriaga); step-grandmother of Lauren, Luis, Anna, Vincent and Isabella; also survived by her sisters, Mary Elizabeth Dolcich, Rita Bertha and Joanne Very, along with many nieces and nephews; preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Barbara Sommer Glaid and her two brothers, Dr. Andrew Glaid and William Glaid. Lucille was employed at the Seraphic Mass Association for over fifty years, supporting the missions entrusted to the Capuchin Franciscan Province of St. Augustine throughout many developing countries. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Monday, April 21, 2014, from 2-8 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Tuesday morning at 10:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Wendelin Church, 2728 Custer Ave., Carrick, at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to St. Wendelin Parish in Lucille's memory.
