Luigi Capozzolo, age 94, passed away peacefully with family by his side, on Sunday, August 9, 2026, of Whitehall, formerly of Controne, Italy. A beloved barber on Route 51 for many decades, Luigi worked well past retirement age because his shop was more than a business - it was a place where every person who sat in his chair became family. Luigi was the husband of the late Maria Victoria Vasquez Capozzolo; father of Daniel (Editha) Capozzolo and Elizabeth (Jeremy) Nelson; grandfather of Angela (Mason) Monfrey, Alexa Capozzolo, Marcus Capozzolo, Ethan Trapold, Chloe (Ben) Durand and Avynn Nelson; great-grandfather of Harper, Isla and Liam; son of the late Donato and Caterina Capozzolo; brother of Vittorio (Linda), Raymond (the late Annette) and the late Antonio (Ruth), Giuseppi (Angelina), Maria (Pete) and Rosanna (Fernando). Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Luigi was the life of every gathering, known for his kindness, his unforgettable cooking and the best garden in the neighborhood. His warmth, humor and generosity touched everyone who knew him. He will be deeply and lovingly missed. Friends will be received at the John F.
