Dear Jean, Joe and Paul, I remember well how kind your mother was. When Michael and I were small and you were grown and in high school the parents would visit and Madlyn would let us play with your Hot Wheels cars and it was a real treat! She always took an interest in our lives and that always made me feel important. I am sorry that I won't be able to join you for the funeral but please know that Sophie, the girls and I are thinking of you.

Dear Jean, Joe, and Paul, So sorry for your loss. The end of an era and missing them all. Madlyn would invite me over for lunch every so often when I went to St. Wendelin's, I can still "feel" the walk down that path through the back of the school to your old house. So nice of her. Thinking of you all with sorrow. Diane (Menzer) Payne

Sending my condolences. I am sorry I cannot attend the viewing. I'll never forget the great wedding shower gift Madlyn and Ellie got me. It was a gift for every letter of the alphabet. I received 26 gifts! SO MUCH FUN!!! Gwen Bruno-Menzer
