Margaret A. (Nibert) Shafer, peacefully passed away at home with family on Friday December 25, 2020, of Jefferson Hills, formerly of Indiana, PA and Naples, FL. Beloved wife of the late Dale M. Shafer; loving mother of Ann M. Shafer and Mark (Laura) Shafer; best grandmother in the world of Edward Hale, Elizabeth Hale, Dale Shafer and James Shafer. She spent her early years teaching and later worked for the Indiana Evening Gazette. Margaret was a longtime member of the Ladies of Charities, St. Thomas A' Becket. She was very active with the literacy council and taught English as a second language. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. There will be no visitation. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 in Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Thomas A' Becket Church, 139 Gill Hall Rd, Clairton, PA 15025.
