O'MALLEY MARGARET ANNE "PEGGY" (RISHEL)

Age 79, of Baldwin Borough, on December 6, 2017.

Beloved wife of the late Thomas O'Malley; loving mother of Susan O'Malley (Sean) Stephan of California, Kevin J. (Jill) O'Malley of Baldwin, Laura A. O'Malley (James) Duzyk of Whitehall, and Mark T. O'Malley of Baldwin. She was the adoring grandmother of Luke and Patrick Stephan, Olivia, Alexa and Owen O'Malley, and Keely and McKenna Duzyk. Peggy was born June 10, 1938 in Shadyside and enjoyed growing up with her parents, the late John T. and Margaret T. Rishel, and with her siblings, Sr. Marie Theresa, SC, Robert J Rishel, Regina Gauscheman and Joseph F. Rishel. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in 1956. She and her new husband moved to Baldwin in 1970 to start their family. Peggy was a devout member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church where she belonged to numerous organizations and enjoyed running a booth at Spring-A-Rama. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 11:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at Noon. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 1 Grove Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.

    Peggy will be sadly missed @ Ladies of Charity of St. Elizabeth of Hungary. She was a delight to work with on many projects. Always smiling, always helpful.
