Obituary For Margaret Mihalik

February 1, 1924 - November 18, 2016

Mihalik, Margaret, on Friday, November 18, 2016 of Baldwin, formerly of Greenfield. Beloved wife of the late George Mihalik, Jr.; loving mother of Patricia and Darlene (Brad); grandmother of Grace and Nora; sister of Pauline Fuhr and the late Mary Listisen and Stephen Yalch, Jr. During WWII, Margaret worked at Mine Safety and Edwin L. Wiggin Co. She was also very active with her former parish, Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Greenfield. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 1-4 p.m and Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday evening Parastas Requiem Service. A Funeral Divine Liturgy will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Pius X Byzantine Catholic Church, 2336 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh PA 15210.

    My sweet Aunt Peggy, Your life and love for me and Evan and our entire family is your legacy of love for Christ and all of us in this life and I know you are in his loving arms right now and with Uncle George, Aunt Mary and Bubbi and Diddi and Uncle Steve, back home with your family. I will always pray for you, Patti and Darlene and your granddaughters. I love you and will miss you until we are all reunited in Heaven.
