Margaret "Peg" (Snyder) Danielson, age 96, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2024 in Sun City Center, Florida. Peg was born on May 5, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan to Cecelia and Henry Snyder. She was a 1946 graduate of South Hills High School. In 1951 she married Harry "Buzz" Danielson. They raised their family in Upper St. Clair where Peg was an active member of St. Louise De Marillac Parish. Peg and Buzz worked together creating Danielson Foundry Products in the seventies. After retiring, Peg concentrated on her golf game, bowling score as well as spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Michael J. Danielson, a sister, Jolene Edwards, and special companion Maurice Van Dyke. Peg is lovingly remembered by daughters Michelle Danielson of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Marlene (Donald) Bodden of Sun City Center, FL, Mary Louise (Vincent) O'Neill of Muncy, PA and brother Joe (Mary Beth) Letzkus of Whitehall, PA. Peg will be deeply missed by her five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15227 on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at noon. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
