Davidson, Maria C. (Cihoski), age 73, peacefully on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 of Baldwin Boro.

Beloved wife of 40 years to Byron J. Davidson; loving mother of Terry Davidson; daughter of the late Daniel and Anna Cihoski; sister-in-law of Diane (the late William) Tighe and the late Donald S. (Elaine) Davidson; aunt of Kathleen T. Kriel, Maureen, Amy and Molly Tighe, Karen Davidson and Mary-Kay Davidson-Taylor. Also survived by Rose Smith, Ken and Lois Sarver and numerous cousins and friends. Maria was a Catholic School teacher for 30 years. She was a member of the choir and a facilitator of the adult education bible study of St. Germaine, was a Family Hospice and Palliative Care volunteer and active in Cursillo. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Saturday morning at 10:00. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Germaine Church at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to ALS Association - Western PA, 416 Lincoln Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15209.
