Age 95, on Thursday, July 9, 2026, of Whitehall. Beloved mother of Mayra (Deacon Sam) Toney; grandmother of Lorena (Jerry), Paul (Judy) and Jason (Rachel); great-grandmother of Luke, Lauren, Anna, Andrew, Jake (Anna), Katie, JP and Madison. Also survived by her beloved feline companion, Toby. Christina was a devoted, longtime member of the Ladies of Charity. She was known for her Christmas cookies, which she took great joy in baking and sharing with everyone. Her spunky sense of humor was a constant source of joy, and she never hesitated to help anyone in need. Her deep faith guided every part of her life. She was devoted to her church, prayed the rosary daily, and carried a steadfast love for God that shaped her kindness, generosity, and the way she cared for others. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Monday, July 13, 2026 from 3-7 p.m. Funeral prayer on Tuesday morning at 9:15.
