Obituary For Marian D. (Mercurio) "Gram" Schneider

Age 93, on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 of Bon Air.

Beloved wife of the late William H.; loving mother of Elaine (John) Johnston, Harry "Butch" and Mark (Brenda); proud Gram of Lauren (Jaime), Liza (Lucas), Monique (Greg), Matt (Jenni), Jessica and Cole; Great-Gram of Alexa, Brayden, Mason and soon-to-be Dominic; sister of the late Alice (Howard), LeRoy (Dorothy), Emma (Joseph), Fred (Jean), Elder (Eleanor) and Thomas (Jean); sister-in-law of Claire (the late Melvin) Bennett and the late Bernard (survived by Ann) Schneider and Harry (Frances "Sweetzie") Schneider. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Marian was a lifelong, active member of Hilltop United Methodist Church. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday, October 23, 2020 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held privately. Due to the current public health crisis, masks and social distancing guidelines must be adhered to.     Elaine ,Butch , Mark and Family, we were so sorry to hear of Aunt Marian's passing. One of my favorite Aunts . Growing up was always so much fun with family visits and holiday get togethers. Both Aunt Marian and my smiling eyed Uncle Bill always came to my dancing school recitals . They were just as excited as I was to have them there. They called me Lindy all the time. I thought it was so endearing. I will miss her very much . With deepest love and sympathy.
