Obituary For Marilyn B. Nordquist

Age 92, on Saturday, July 11, 2026, of Baldwin.

Beloved wife of 64 years to the late Harry Nordquist; mother of Cheryl (Joe) Cappurccini; grandmother of Timothy Cappurccini and Annemarie (Khalil) Baker; great-grandmother of Zion Baker; daughter of the late Harry and Selma Bahde. Marilyn held various secretarial positions before retiring to stay at home and raise her daughter. She enjoyed traveling and singing in the church choir. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 3:30-6:30 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. If desired, family suggests contributions to Narrow Gate Church, 900 Brookline Blvd., Pittsburgh, PA 15226.     Visits with Marilyn and several lovely ladies at Overlook Green while Cheryl was in El Salvador were delightful times. She was a favorite with the staff. They enjoyed giving this sweet lady pretty hairstyles! God faithfully watched over Marilyn and received her to Himself and for this we give Him praise!
