September 19, 1927 - November 4, 2017

Crowder, Marilyn J. (Schumacher) Age 90, peacefully at home on Saturday, November 4, 2017, of Brentwood.

Loving mother of Nancy (David) Weightman, John, Thomas (Colleen), Robert (Sandra), William (Nancy) and Sandra L. Crowder-Barnes; sister of Judith Schumacher and the late Janice Martinelli; proud grandmother of nine, great-grandmother of four. Marilyn's love and concern for others reached far beyond her immediate family. Her impact on others is immeasurable. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday, November 7, from 3-8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Caribbean Youth Network, P.O. Box 27047, Pittsburgh, PA 15235.

    To my Sisters in Christ ;Nancy and Sandy, and their brothers; ; My love and prayers are with you at this time. I know she is blowing all the bubbles in heaven right about now. Thank you for sharing her loving and kind spirit with us. I can remember all the love she poured out to our Teen Moms and their babies @ YoungLives club May God grant you the peace and healing on this journey .
