A neighbor who always had time to stop and talk on her way to or from work. The conversations were welcomed whether it be personal, the weather or my garden. A sweet, kind soul who will be missed. Godspeed dear lady.

Family and Friends of Marilyn VanWert Stokes, May God comfort and support you in the time of your loss. My prayers and thoughts are with you. Marilyn was a dear friend, classmate and inspiration to all who knew her. "Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions. If it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." John 14: 1 -3 May God Bless and Keep You, Lou Slautterback Baldwin High School 1963

My deepest prayers go to Ellis and his family. As I told one of the sons-in-law, I was praying for Marilyn, for a miracle. I guess it was not in the cards. We love you, kiddo, and Bill said to give Ms. Marilyn a kiss for him.
