Age 100, passed peacefully on Saturday, November 9, 2024, of Whitehall, formerly of Scottdale.

Beloved wife of the late Cecil F. Driscoll and the late Theodore Leaman, Jr.; loving mother of Ruth Ann, Jack (Cathy) and James (Debora) Driscoll; proud Granny of Bryan (Tiffany), Brad, and Chrissa Driscoll; great-grandmother of Elijah, Declan, Lucas and Jonah; daughter of the late Edgar and Marian Byers; sister of the late Edgar (Edris) Byers. Also survived by extended family, friends and was blessed in life by her wonderful neighbors. Marj was an avid sports fan. She loved her Steelers and Pirates. Golf was her favorite sport to play. She also enjoyed playing bridge and sewing. Reading the newspaper and doing crosswords with a cup of tea was relaxing for her. She often enjoyed a sweet treat as well. Marj was incredibly independent for most of her life and enjoyed traveling. Marjorie's family would like to thank Whitetail Springs and Commonwealth Hospice for their kind, compassionate and continuous care. Although her family is mourning her passing, they are also celebrating her long and meaningful life. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Friday morning at 10:00.
