Obituary For Mark R. Herrle

Age 74, of Whitehall, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Beloved son of the late Francis "Bud" and Frances Herrle; loving brother of Dan (Linda) Herrle, Michael (Rosemary Galligan) Herrle and Lynn (Scott) Hartman; devoted uncle of Jennifer, Samantha, Jake, Darren, Danielle and the late Jason. Also survived by many loving cousins and friends. Mark worked for many years as a computer system analyst until his retirement. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, PA 15227 on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Thursday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers family suggests contributions to Wounded Warriors or Disabled American Veterans.     I have many memories of Mark and I in our younger years! One example.....getting together on Friday nights with John and Roy drinking Iron City beer and playing cards. And, we went to every Pirate night game back in the '70's....drinking Iron City beer! Rest in peace, cousin, Tom Herrle
