Martha was the beloved sister of the late Lina, Alfio, Laura and Claudio Pollice; loving aunt of Agnese Pollice (Robert Vukas), Agnes Brandis and the late Sandro Pollice. Martha was the youngest daughter born to Giacinto and Agnese Pollice on November 9, 1921 in the town of Ateleta, Abruzzo, Italy. She grew up in the beautiful mountains where one of her greatest passions was skiing. Following World War II, Martha came to Pittsburgh with her mother and sisters in 1947. She worked at Horne's Department Store for 37 years. She was known for her flair for fashion and style. Along with being an accomplished writer, contributing to several Italian publications, she was a talented seamstress, gardener and cook. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
