Obituary For Mary A. (Tamiggi) Ellin

Age 92, on Saturday, February 25, 2023, of Dormont.

Beloved wife of 50 years to the late George Ellin; loving mother of Carol (John) Moore, George (Susan) Ellin and Barbara (Frank) Hamschin; proud grandmother of John (Jennifer) Moore, Michael (Shelby) Moore, Lela (Al) Barrett, Anthony Ellin, Haley Hamschin, Shane Hamschin and the late Michelle Moore; great-grandmother of Kaylee, Thomas, Allison and Chandler; sister of the late John Tamiggi, Sara DeSimone, Frank Tamiggi, David Tamiggi and Jean Morabito. Mary was caring, kind, fun-loving and devoted to her family. She will be deeply missed. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 3-8 p.m. A blessing service will be held in the Chapel on Friday at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237.
