Condolences to the Sokac children and their families. I will always remember your Mother's kind, smiling face and especially the day I ran into her at Giant Eagle, a few days before Thanksgiving. She was pushing a grocery cart full of loaves of bread to make stuffing because the gang was coming for dinner at their new house in Whitehall. I will be keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers. Peace to all, Bonnie Rogan

Praying for peace and comfort for the entire family. I haven't seen Mrs. Sokac in probably 40 years, but I will always remember Sunday dinners at the Brownsville Road house. Best. Sauce. Ever. She was always smiling (unless she was giving that "sideway glance" that meant "Oh really?") Her faith is now sight. Sheri (Mason) Smith

I'm so sorry for the loss of your mother and grandmother. She was a neighbor for so many years and someone I visited with many times over the years. Our dog, Lupin loved her and always looked to see if she was outside. I was also her Eucharistic minister till she went to the nursing home. She was a very special lady. Pat Woods

An ever-present smile that made one feel at ease, a hearty laugh that had us laughing right along with her, a kind heart that was always welcoming and understanding. Mary Catherine, my dear cousin, exhibited all those characteristics and so much more. So yes, while we grieve, we also celebrate a life lived to the fullest......a family raised with love and care. Thank you so much for watching after my parents for all the years in our absence. I will miss our all too infrequent, but treasured, conversations. May God keep you, and all of the Sokac clan in his loving care. Jonathan and Judy Fabio
