Obituary For Mary Ellen Barringer

Beloved wife of the late Michael; loving mother of Tony (Chrissy) Harkins; proud grammie of Gianna and Lorenzo Harkins; daughter of the late James and Margaret Bullotta; sister of Carla (the late Michael) Zekas, James (Lori) Bullotta and the late John Paul Bullotta. Also survived by nieces, nephews and beloved friends. Mary loved to dance and enjoyed many nights dancing with great friends at The Grove. Friends will be received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, PA 15227 on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Due to the current pandemic, masks and social distancing are required. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at 10 a.m. in Mary, Queen of Peace Parish, St. Mary of the Mount Church. Please meet at church, 403 Grandview Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15211. If desired, family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Dr, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.

She helped us all to keep perspective....ready for the next dance, the next party , sunny days...Thankfully, she was able to be surrounded and comforted by her family in those last days. Her funny humor and her smile lit up a room! She is at peace now and out of pain and not suffering anymore. She fought so hard! She was everyone's friend ! Heaven gained a disco queen angel!!'
