Obituary For Mary Ellen O'Hare

July 15, 1943 - October 26, 2014

O'Hare, Mary Ellen (Cronin) Age 71, peacefully with her family at her side, on Sunday, October 26, 2014, of Baldwin.

Beloved mother of Shawn P. (Vivian Hathuc) and Colleen A. (Julian Nichols) O'Hare; former wife of Dennis D. O'Hare; daughter of the late John and Mary Cronin; sister of John (Mary) Cronin, Anna (Ronald) Smolak and the late James Cronin; sister-in-law of Maryan Cronin; also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227, Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Prayer on Wednesday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church at 10:00 am. If desired, family suggests contributions to Center for Compassionate Care, 50 Moffett Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15243.

    Shawn, Vivian, Colleen and Julian, My deepest sympathy to you and a prayerful reminder mom is no longer suffering. I will miss her many visits. I enjoyed sitting with your mom for many years but, we got so close after Mr M died. Peace be with all of you, Love, Terry
