Marci & family, I was honored to be a proxy member of your family. Right now, I feel a part of your Italian heritage, getting it from your mother's dedication to the past. The more time that has passed makes the emptiness feel real. I lost a wonderful friend, a treasure that is hard to find, but I found it in your mom!!! Betty Meyer

Marci So very sorry to hear of the passing of your mother. Your mother, and your father, we're so very kind to me when we were growing up. Fond memories include your mom busy in the kitchen and going to the Carpenter's picnic at West View Park. Please accept my condolences and extend my sympathy to your brothers. Mary D'Hert Carpenter

Chuck, Marci and Joe Please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences on the passing of your dear Mom. It was an honor and pleasure to have known Mrs B with the bright smiling face that made our time with her as special memories. She will be remembered as a dedicated mother and wife with her children as the centerpiece of her life. I will forever respect those admirable qualities that made Mrs B a beautiful person and a special lady that touched our lives. She truly exemplified our Italian American Heritage with such grace dignity and love. As many experienced, Mrs. B was priceless with her Italian hospitality of baking and cooking. It was her way to make one feel so special. Only Italian Americans can truly understand her talents were her gift of bringing people together to appreciate life with her homemade crafted examples of love. I cherish having those moments with her as pleasurable memories. May she rest in peace. May God comfort all of you and your families during this time.

Words can not express the entirety of this wonderful lady's personality. Our family loved Mary--- and we are so very grateful that we all got to enjoy spending time with her, in December, at my Mom's 100th birthday party. Mary was a true Italian mother----always cooking, working tirelessly, sharing her 5 star receipes, making her coveted, famous pizzelle's for everyone!! She never tired in her giving and asked for nothing in return. She refused to let any grass under her feet and continued to challenge herself in learning new skills. I will always smile with great fondness when thinking of Mary! She is truly an unforgettable lady and we are grateful for the privilege of knowing her! She was a true blessing to our family and we thank God for every minute we spent with her......so many memories! Held in the hands of God for eternity!

Anche se da molto lontano siamo vicini al dolore della famiglia per la perdita di una grande donna che ha seminato tanta bontà sulla terra e ora ci protegge dal Paradiso. Un abbraccio sincero...

Mrs B as Tom called her was an amazing woman. She really filled her life with family, friends, food and laughter. In December she learned a new skill knitting. She was busy making scarves for her family. I remember going to her house in carrick and the entire dining room table was covered with goodies for Christmas. She knew my son Bradley loved pizzels. She would package some for us.
