Obituary For Mary M. Delaney

Delaney, Mary Margaret (Byrne), age 93, on Monday, April 27, 2020, of Baldwin Boro.

Beloved wife of the late Raymond W.; loving mother of Mary (Robert) Marquart, Dennis, Kevin, Brian (Judy); proud grandmother of nine; great-grandmother of two; sister of Joan (Ken) Ferer; predeceased by one brother and four sisters. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitations and services were held privately. A memorial service may be planned at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227. If desired, family suggests contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

    Dear Mary Jo, Dennis, Kevin, Brian, and families, I just wanted you to know how special your mom was to us through the years. Times spent with aunts, uncles and cousins was a highlight for us every year and Aunt Marge was one of our favorite 'hosts'. I remember lots of cookouts and sleepovers when we were younger. Afterwards, a game of flashlight tag was always a hit. Thanks so much for sharing her with us. Love to you all, Mary Ellen

    I was sorry to hear about the passing of our Aunt Marg. My favorite and earliest memory of Aunt Marg was watching her laugh at Uncle Ray's jokes while on vacation in Deep Creek, Maryland. We had so much fun on that trip. She was a joy.
