Obituary For Maryann (Chojnicki) Rickard

September 14, 1934 - April 21, 2017 Rickard, Maryann (Chojnicki), age 82, after a long battle with dementia, on Friday, April 21, 2017 of Brentwood. Wife of 56 years to Maurice H. Rickard, Sr.; mother of Kathleen A. Rickard and Maurice H. Rickard, Jr. (Patricia Curry-Rickard); grandmother of Leo and Benjamin Rickard; daughter of the late Theodore and Marie Chojnicki; sister of Rosemarie Chojnicki and the late Henry, Walter and Theodore Chojnicki; sister-in-law of Eva Chojnicki; aunt of Eric (Estelle), Paul, Carl and Wayne Chojnicki. Maryann was a graduate of South High School and was a former Westinghouse Electric employee. Friends will be received at the John F. Slater Funeral Home, Inc., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Monday morning at 9:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 10:00 a.m.
