Patti, I grew up and went to grade school, Jr. High and High School with Mike, although we grew apart after graduation as I spent many years away from Pittsburgh my wife and I always enjoyed his company at the reunions. RIP my friend.

"Mr. Mike," as I always called him, was very special to me. He was a very dear friend of my parents that I could sincerely say was my friend as well. He always, always made me laugh and always made everything "more fun". I will always remember his hunchback Halloween costume, and him outshining everyone else at the "Haunted Garage" with his character. I look fondly back at the time he took to call and give me every tip for an amazing trip to Aruba, and how he spoke of the great times and special moments that he and Patty shared there. He showed up to my bridal shower in coconuts and a grass skirt.... it was EVERYTHING. Mike used to make the most amazing pina coladas and I enjoyed spending time at the pool, sipping on those with the 151 floater and just having a FABULOUS time with Patty, him, my parents... He extended a helping hand to me at my homes more than one time, and I also enjoyed working with him at Zoresco. It was an absolute pleasure knowing Mike. May you rest in peace. I will miss you so. XOXOXO Patty, my heart is with you.

A better friend you'll never find. To know him was to "LOVE" him and I knew him very, very well.My life has changed with his passing and I'll be looking at things differently now. He was a one of a kind guy who I'll miss deeply every day. Rest in peace my "EXCEPTIONAL" friend. My sincere sympathy to Patti and the entire Cecere family>

Michael will be remembered for his wit and humor, his kindness and patience, his intelligence and work ethic, his loving heart and friendship. He was a dear member of our extended family...a brother to Vic and I. So many wonderful memories were made over the years. Michael in his coconuts and grass skirt, the Circus Master at Halloween, Patty's pepper dinners at the Resort...on and on. We will miss him terribly but are grateful he was in our lives. Love you, Michael...always and forever.

Michael has left the most beautiful footprint in our hearts. A special human being, always a smile on his face, and such a joy to be around him. For it breaks our hearts over the loss of him. Michael you will be missed, and never forgotten as the Mayor on McClelland Rd for over 25 years. We could always count on your advise on what ever project was going on in the neighborhood as a close friend and neighbor who watched out for all of us on the street ! We will miss all the jokes and pranks we did on each other, too. Our most deepest sincere sympathy to Patti, and the rest of the family . Now there is another angel looking over your family. You are in our hearts and prayers.
